Once an overweight, shy student battling self-doubt and failure, Yashwant Das Mahant transformed his life through mindfulness—losing 40 kg, becoming a confident speaker, and guiding countless students as a professor and Mindfulness & Meditation practitioner & coach. Armed with academic credentials including a B.Com (Honours), M.A. in Political Science, M.A. in Psychology, and UGC-NET qualification, he combines scholarly depth with lived experience. He is phD scholar & a soft skills trainer at various universities, and has completed 5–6 intensive meditation and mindfulness courses.

When learned under the guidance of an experienced teacher and through practical practices, it can never be a problem.However, in the early stages, sitting for 10 - 15 minutes might cause some body pain. Those with excessive thoughts may experience a slight headache during meditation. But, these are early stage challenges, and within a week or a month, they all disappear, and you start seeing things become easier and more beautiful.
